NusaybinSpor's Sebastian Markusson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 5th minute of play. Eric Fridlund received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Lautaro Navarro came out and tried to block the shot, but Eric Fridlund slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 10th minute. Sebastian Markusson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edmundo Espiga in the 13th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Edmundo Espiga managed to get in a good position for a shot. Honduras's supporters rose to their feet, but Edmundo Espiga was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sebastian Markusson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 20 played minutes NusaybinSpor got a freekick which was hit by Jano Meirelles. After having played for 22 minutes, Edmundo Espiga managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Honduras's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edmundo Espiga was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Moises Tafalla's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sebastian Markusson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. In the 28th minute Edmundo Espiga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sebastian Markusson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 31 minutes into the match, NusaybinSpor's goal looked a bit too open when Edmundo Espiga came free, but Sebastian Markusson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edmundo Espiga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sebastian Markusson having to interfere. Sebastian Villa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sebastian Markusson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. 38 minutes into the match, NusaybinSpor's goal looked a bit too open when Edmundo Espiga came free, but Sebastian Markusson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edmundo Espiga in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sebastian Markusson saved NusaybinSpor from getting behind. Gaffar Okan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Lautaro Navarro made a huge save. Sebastian Markusson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmundo Espiga in the 43rd minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Edmundo Espiga made a kick off. Edmundo Espiga's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 51stth minute, Sebastian Markusson skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Honduras's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Edmundo Espiga in the 54th minute. Edmundo Espiga made a great header on Honduras's corner, it was just that NusaybinSpor's Sebastian Markusson managed to reach the ball for a save. Honduras's Edmundo Espiga got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Honduras booed when NusaybinSpor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eric Fridlund didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Edmundo Espiga's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sebastian Markusson was relentless in the 60th minute of the game. A well-hit corner resulted in Luca Espinar heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Honduras's Edmundo Espiga got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Moises Tafalla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 90 minutes, Edmundo Espiga managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Honduras's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edmundo Espiga was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to NusaybinSpor getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Arif Çelebi Coşar hit a great ball. Sebastian Markusson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edmundo Espiga, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute.
