A wasted opportunity for ṨOḰᾋḰ ĿᾋṂϐᾋṨἿ ™ﻨ. 26 minutes into the match, Olcay Orkun Gökekin notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Colombia's Pedro Manzanares. Pedro Manzanares was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Abram Secada had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Abram Secada came free with the goalkeeper in the 72nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Egun Zapico could save by the left post. The supporters of Colombia booed when ṨOḰᾋḰ ĿᾋṂϐᾋṨἿ ™ﻨ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Birant Soysaldı didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Kevin Mastache managed to get in a good position for a shot. Colombia's supporters rose to their feet, but Kevin Mastache was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Egun Zapico breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Estevão Reis in the 81st minute of play. In the 86th minute the ball was on its way in behind ṨOḰᾋḰ ĿᾋṂϐᾋṨἿ ™ﻨ's goalkeeper Egun Zapico, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Colombia to win.
