Vladimiro Matai showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patricio Costa in the 15th minute of the match. Patricio Costa hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. A throw-in in the 19th minute of the game was made by José Fonte with Alfredo Curado as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Alfredo Curado struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ADCR Loreto United FC. Venezuela's Jonathan Venegas managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by José Fonte in the 23 minute of the game. In the 35th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jose Correa to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alfredo Curado got free with Jonathan Ferrant in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Alfredo Curado could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. In the 40th minute, Sálvio Ribeiro fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Jonathan Ferrant, passed just outside the right post. Jose Correa kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The wind increased when Tomas Illescas made the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Alfredo Curado managed to get in a good position for a shot. ADCR Loreto United FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Alfredo Curado was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Ferrant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 81st minute, ADCR Loreto United FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Tomas Illescas fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After a rather tough play, ADCR Loreto United FC's Cesário Abrantes got a free kick in the 85th minute. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfredo Curado, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
