Arif Bilge Tokyürek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felix Montenegro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 8 minutes into the match, H E P T A N FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Arif Bilge Tokyürek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 23 minutes, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Zorita was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Yu Xi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. In the 29th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juan Sebastián Puig to maneuver through the defense. Yu Xi took the ball and in the 32 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Julio Vera. Julio Vera dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Yu Xi's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. Arif Bilge Tokyürek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 37th minute of play. In the 42nd minute, Felix Montes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 44 played minutes H E P T A N FC got a freekick which was hit by Aykut Zihni. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yu Xi in the 47th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Yu Xi took the ball and in the 52 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Julio Vera. Julio Vera dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yu Xi in the 55th minute of play. Luz Palacio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Arif Bilge Tokyürek having to make a save. Cristian Sancho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Arif Bilge Tokyürek made a huge save. Luz Palacio who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 65thth minute tested the skills of Arif Bilge Tokyürek when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 67th minute, Cristian Sancho reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Arif Bilge Tokyürek. The goal made the score 3-1. Luz Palacio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Arif Bilge Tokyürek read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 72nd minute of play. 74 minutes into the match, H E P T A N FC's goalkeeper Arif Bilge Tokyürek had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luz Palacio. H E P T A N FC's Arif Bilge Tokyürek proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save H E P T A N FC from getting a goal against them. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yu Xi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luz Palacio's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Arif Bilge Tokyürek firmly grabbed it by the left post. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yu Xi in the 90th minute of the match. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Arif Bilge Tokyürek tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee blew the final whistle, H E P T A N FC could leave the field as winners, despite Ecuador having more of the ball for most of the match.
