Dante Lacasa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of David Batuhin's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. The supporters of Mexico booed when Cuatrodeocho was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Belarmino Campos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fulgencio Villalcazar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Gaona in the 68th minute of play. In the 72nd minute, Cuatrodeocho's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Lautaro Mancebo fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Cuatrodeocho made a substitution. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Cuatrodeocho were victorious despite being under pressure from Mexico for much of the match.
