Halil Can Ulukut made in the 44th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Servet Uca however managed to control. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tomas Illescas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51stth minute of the game Patricio Costa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but AtletikEdirne's Başar Tanyel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Demiralp Beksan kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Tümer Karadeniz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 60th minute, Tomas Illescas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Venezuela fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Tomas Illescas struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Başar Tanyel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Venezuela. In the 80th match minute, AtletikEdirne was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Halil Can Ulukut to maneuver through the defense. Patricio Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Başar Tanyel having to interfere. Başar Tanyel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patricio Costa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 88 minutes, Halil Can Ulukut mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the AtletikEdirne and the Venezuela players grew even worse after the yellow card. Başar Tanyel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Illescas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to AtletikEdirne getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Halil Can Ulukut hit a great ball. There was no doubt that Venezuela were the better team. Venezuela's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
