In the 22nd minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wlodzimierz Dawiec saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wlodzimierz Dawiec came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Cristian Sancho. But to his dismay, Cristian Sancho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Ingemar Tolsson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Tobias Nyberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mörbyhus Palace's supporters rose to their feet, but Tobias Nyberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julio Vera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Julio Vera made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Ingemar Tolsson sent off a good shot on target. In the 37th minute, Daniel Zorita got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Agustín Saelices scored 0-2 in the 39th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Wlodzimierz Dawiec, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Einar Örtlund kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Daniel Zorita, 42 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Ecuador played a much better game than Mörbyhus Palace and deserved their victory. The Mörbyhus Palace players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
