In the 6th minute, Alexander Carballo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 7th minute of the match Carmelo Brais sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Benito Sanz skillfully saved the ball. In the 18th minute, Alan Moruga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 19 minutes into the match, AFC FUSION's Carmelo Brais sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Benito Sanz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 25th minute the ball was on its way in behind Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Alan Moruga hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Carmelo Brais struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Benito Sanz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AFC FUSION. In the 36th minute, Alan Moruga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 40 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Marco Lorien came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 45thth minute of the game Marco Lorien who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Costa Rica's Benito Sanz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marco Lorien in the 47th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Benito Sanz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Ramiro Arnalt scored 2-1 in the 51st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Benito Sanz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 57th minute, Axel Tasis reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Carolo Isidor. The goal made the score 2-2. Eliseo Noboa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Carolo Isidor read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 60th minute of play. Carolo Isidor made an important save on a dangerous shot by Axel Tasis in the 65th minute. 71 minutes into the game, Abel Carballo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Costa Rica's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave AFC FUSION the free kick. Abel Carballo kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. In the 72nd minute of the match Carmelo Brais sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Benito Sanz skillfully saved the ball. Carlos Ishmael recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Ramiro Arnalt managed to get in a good position for a shot. AFC FUSION's supporters rose to their feet, but Ramiro Arnalt was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benito Sanz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of AFC FUSION booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juan Rubio didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carmelo Brais in the 81st minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Axel Tasis received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Carolo Isidor came out and tried to block the shot, but Axel Tasis slotted it home off the left post making it 2-3 in the 83rd minute. 92 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Marco Lorien came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 95th match minute, AFC FUSION was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gregorio Orlondon to maneuver through the defense. When the final whistle went the supporters of Costa Rica were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant AFC FUSION side.
