After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Agustín Saelices got a free kick in the 9th minute. Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fu Hai Yuan's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. Acilia Town's Ciro Moscatelli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luis Andino in the 16th minute of play. 18 minutes into the match, Acilia Town's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Ciro Moscatelli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Daniel Zorita took the ball and in the 18 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ciro Moscatelli. Ciro Moscatelli dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Scofield Vinciguerra in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 21 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Fu Hai Yuan came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Camilo Gisbert hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ovidiu Ciulei in the 24th minute of the match. In the 27th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 28 minutes Ecuador's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ovidiu Ciulei who took care of the corner kick. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ciro Moscatelli having to interfere. In the 48th minute, Cristian Sancho made a precise shot to the right of Ciro Moscatelli. Acilia Town's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Acilia Town's Dieguinho Tande was substituted for Fu Hai Yuan. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Ciro Moscatelli made a fantastic save in the 97th minute, when Cristian Sancho sent off a good shot on target.
