Rolando Noboa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from İrfan Attar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Peru defense, İrfan Attar kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rolando Noboa. The Peru fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rolando Noboa should have stopped the shot. Sandu Vlaicu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Murillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sandu Vlaicu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 22nd minute of play. Julian Murillo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sandu Vlaicu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 23rd minute of play. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by İrfan Attar in the 54th minute of play. 55 minutes had been played when some careless play by Peru's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Cristi Chivu was slow to take the kick. During this time FC Urzicuța's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Cristi Chivu got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Rolando Noboa quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Julian Murillo got free with Sandu Vlaicu in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Rolando Noboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from İrfan Attar in the 61st minute of play. In the 62nd minute of the game Senne Rondou made a throw-in which Apolo Mingo played forward. Rolando Noboa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of İrfan Attar's shot from short distance in the 66th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers İrfan Attar in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rolando Noboa saved Peru from getting behind. Rolando Noboa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from İrfan Attar, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute.
