Haiti were furious when Saint Jean Pierre was red carded, 39 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 38th minute of the game. One of Haiti:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Kiepscy:s goal. The referee gave Kiepscy a penalty, 40 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Krzysztof Gaszynski, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Haiti's Noel Seide. 0-1. If Philippe Ambroise had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Juliusz Klewinski blasted a shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Noel Seide having to make a save. In the 76th minute of the match, Krzysztof Gaszynski tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Noel Seide saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Ernso Constant sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Haiti's Noel Seide proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save Haiti from getting a goal against them. After having played for 82 minutes, Ernso Constant managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Haiti's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ernso Constant was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 86 minutes into the match, Haiti's goalkeeper Noel Seide had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lucjan Cichowski. In the 88th minute Krzysztof Gaszynski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Noel Seide saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lukasz Hendzel kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match.
