Kropotkins pojkar's Albano Boni got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 24th minute the ball was on its way in behind Kropotkins pojkar's goalkeeper Per-Arne Vidman, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Per-Arne Vidman stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jenson Smith's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. Per-Arne Vidman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cassius Byrne in the 27th minute of the match. After having played for 29 minutes, Gustavo-Hernán Vallejo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kropotkins pojkar's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gustavo-Hernán Vallejo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Albano Boni in the 31st minute of play forced USA's goalkeeper Marco Day to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Per-Arne Vidman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edward Mcdonald, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Marco Day showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tahsin Elçioğlu in the 45th minute of the match. Gustavo-Hernán Vallejo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Marco Day made a huge save. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Gustavo-Hernán Vallejo in the 53rd minute of play forced USA's goalkeeper Marco Day to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marco Day made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustavo-Hernán Vallejo in the 57th minute of play. Monty Rogers received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Per-Arne Vidman came out and tried to block the shot, but Monty Rogers slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 59th minute. Per-Arne Vidman was a little too slow when Cassius Byrne got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 61st minute. The score was now 1-3. If Cassius Byrne had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Monty Rogers fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Per-Arne Vidman having to interfere. Monty Rogers struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Per-Arne Vidman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for USA. USA's Khalid Parry was substituted for Monty Rogers. USA's Marco Baker was substituted for Edward Mcdonald. Tahsin Elçioğlu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Per-Arne Vidman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sam Campbell in the 88th minute of the match. A collision led to Kropotkins pojkar getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Jens-Åke Ahlquist hit a great ball. Kropotkins pojkar's Per-Arne Vidman proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save Kropotkins pojkar from getting a goal against them. Thanks to some nice moves Marco Baker could shoot a difficult shot in the 93rd minute, which Per-Arne Vidman however easily saved by the left post. USA's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
