The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Joel Gaona sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Kanalla F.C's zone, Alberto Tafalla stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. 高洲泉 came out of the goal and Alberto Tafalla tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Szymon Wachna, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Kanalla F.C's 高洲泉 played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Gaona in the 10th minute of play. In the 11th minute, Szymon Wachna got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 14 minutes into the game, 康烨夕 was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kanalla F.C's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mexico the free kick. Alberto Tafalla could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but 高洲泉 made a huge save. 高洲泉 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Tafalla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kanalla F.C's Arturo Gombal managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Leonardo Leoz in the 20 minute of the game. In the 22nd minute of the match, Joel Gaona tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but 高洲泉 saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Kanalla F.C's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Hao Quan Kuan in the 30th minute. The corner led Kanalla F.C's Hao Quan Kuan to fire away a dangerous shot which Dante Lacasa despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Joel Gaona scored 1-0 in the 32nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of 高洲泉, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Kanalla F.C booed when Mexico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Facundo Cadaval didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 39 minutes, Luca Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mexico's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luca Zorita was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Szymon Wachna could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Dante Lacasa made a huge save. Lautaro Mancebo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. 高洲泉 tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 61 minutes into the match, Kanalla F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Tafalla came free, but 高洲泉 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 高洲泉 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Tafalla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 高洲泉 showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 71st minute of the match. Kanalla F.C's attentive Joshua Kimmich managed to snatch the ball when Leonardo Leoz made a throw-in in the 74th minute of the game. 78 minutes into the match, Kanalla F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Lautaro Mancebo came free, but 高洲泉 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 81 minutes had been played when some careless play by Mexico's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Hao Quan Kuan was slow to take the kick. During this time Kanalla F.C's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Hao Quan Kuan got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Dante Lacasa quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 93rd minute of play forced Kanalla F.C's goalkeeper 高洲泉 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mexico's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
