In the 6th minute of the match, Valentino Adán tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Dante Lacasa saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Mexico's Felix Luque managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Valentino Adán in the 8 minute of the game. Lautaro Mancebo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Mexico defense, Nacho Figueroa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dante Lacasa. The Mexico fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dante Lacasa should have stopped the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lautaro Mancebo in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Beremundo Alarcon saved Lost In Sound from getting behind. Beremundo Alarcon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mauricio Rienda got free with Dante Lacasa in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd rose to their feet as Mauricio Rienda kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Dante Lacasa. That made the score 2-0 in the 25 minute of play. When the match clock showed 28 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Joel Gaona sped through Lost In Sound's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Beremundo Alarcon. In the 30th minute Alberto Tafalla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Beremundo Alarcon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joel Gaona fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Beremundo Alarcon having to interfere. With a little luck, Mexico's Dante Lacasa got control of the ball when Nacho Figueroa tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Mexico getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Facundo Cadaval hit a great ball. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mauricio Rienda in the 46th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nacho Figueroa to strike the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Mexico's zone, Mauricio Rienda stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dante Lacasa came out of the goal and Mauricio Rienda tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 55 minutes into the match, Lautaro Mancebo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Beremundo Alarcon. Lost In Sound's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lautaro Mancebo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. In the 62nd minute, Lost In Sound's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Alberto Tafalla fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Beremundo Alarcon made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 67th minute. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nacho Figueroa in the 68th minute of play. Alberto Tafalla blasted a shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Beremundo Alarcon having to make a save. Alberto Tafalla received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Beremundo Alarcon came out and tried to block the shot, but Alberto Tafalla slotted it home off the left post making it 2-4 in the 69th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lautaro Mancebo got free with Beremundo Alarcon in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After taking down the ball on Mexico's corner Joel Gaona fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Beremundo Alarcon quite easily take care of the ball. With his leg Beremundo Alarcon managed to avoid a goal in the 74thth minute, when Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 79th minute of the match Mexico got a corner. Lost In Sound's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Joel Gaona ran over to the corner to take the kick. Lost In Sound were awarded a corner in the 81th minute after Mexico's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Mauricio Rienda took the corner. The corner led Lost In Sound's Mauricio Rienda to fire away a dangerous shot which Dante Lacasa despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Beremundo Alarcon didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lautaro Mancebo went, in the 86th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-5 was the resulting score. In the 90th minute, Joel Gaona fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. The supporters of Mexico booed when Lost In Sound was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Montez Obis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 94th minute, Aparicio Torres hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lautaro Mancebo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Beremundo Alarcon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mexico played a much better game than Lost In Sound and deserved their victory. The Lost In Sound players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
