In the 13th minute Patricio Costa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Art Hauschildt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee gave Venezuela a penalty, 17 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Tomas Illescas, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of ADANACAN's Art Hauschildt. 0-2. Tomas Illescas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Art Hauschildt having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Jack-Peter Grealish's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Ferrant was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. The wind increased when Jack-Peter Grealish made the kick off in the second half. In the 71st minute the ball was on its way in behind ADANACAN's goalkeeper Art Hauschildt, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Tomas Illescas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Art Hauschildt read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 76th minute of play. The supporters of ADANACAN booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jose Correa didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the final whistle went the supporters of Venezuela were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant ADANACAN side.
