The SuperFuerza TM fans' excitement grew in the 14th match minute when SuperFuerza TM's Hector-Luis Palomar looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Julio Vera made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Hector-Luis Palomar sent off a good shot on target. 22 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ecuador's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Belarmino Villalcazar was slow to take the kick. During this time SuperFuerza TM's players had a chance to rest. Daniel Zorita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Prospero Donzel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 27th minute of the match. In the 28th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. SuperFuerza TM's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Daniel Zorita got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Prospero Donzel quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 29th minute Hector-Luis Palomar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the SuperFuerza TM defense, Daniel Zorita kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Prospero Donzel. The SuperFuerza TM fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Prospero Donzel should have stopped the shot. In the 34th minute of the match, Hector-Luis Palomar tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Julio Vera saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Prospero Donzel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luis Andino in the 36th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, SuperFuerza TM's Virgilio Chepe got a free kick in the 40th minute. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maarten Stubbe in the 42nd minute of play. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The wind increased when Daniel Zorita made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, SuperFuerza TM's Kutay Müşfik got a free kick in the 56th minute. 58 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Hector-Luis Palomar came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Prospero Donzel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristian Sancho in the 59th minute. 64 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Virgilio Chepe came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Prospero Donzel made a huge save. After some careless play in the SuperFuerza TM defense, Cristian Sancho kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Prospero Donzel. The SuperFuerza TM fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Prospero Donzel should have stopped the shot. 93 minutes into the match, SuperFuerza TM's goalkeeper Prospero Donzel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristian Sancho. After 94 minutes SuperFuerza TM's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. If Maarten Stubbe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The SuperFuerza TM supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Ecuador's performance. The match ended with a win for Ecuador.
