Vito Montenegro kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. Francisco Seco spun around in front of the goal 5 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Bandeca FC's goal. A collision led to Bandeca FC getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Márcio de Salles hit a great ball. 11 minutes into the match, Igor Mota had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Joaquin Gayoso. Uruguay's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Igor Mota was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Joaquin Gayoso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Igor Mota in the 18th minute of play. Bandeca FC's Guaberto Gamus proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Bandeca FC from getting a goal against them. Márcio de Salles's late challenge caught a Uruguay's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Márcio de Salles helped the player get up and apologised. Márcio de Salles kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. In the 32nd minute Igor Mota shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joaquin Gayoso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 33 minutes Uruguay's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Hunor Adam who took care of the corner kick. In the 38th minute, Maximiliano Escribano reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Guaberto Gamus. The goal made the score 1-2. In the 40th minute the ball was on its way in behind Uruguay's goalkeeper Joaquin Gayoso, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Flávio Arósio made in the 43rd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Tiago Ortiz however managed to control.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Igor Mota made a kick off. In the 51st minute, Bandeca FC's Igor Mota ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Joaquin Gayoso. Joaquin Gayoso yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-3. In the 55th minute, Uruguay's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Igor Mota fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Joaquin Gayoso made an important save on a dangerous shot by Igor Mota in the 55th minute. Igor Mota sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Francisco Seco came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Uruguay fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Francisco Seco couldn't finish the play. In the 79th minute, Francisco Seco left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Uruguay fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-3. Joaquin Gayoso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fernando Banders in the 85th minute of the match. Guaberto Gamus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maximiliano Escribano in the 86th minute of play. Joaquin Gayoso stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fernando Banders's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. 89 minutes into the match, Bandeca FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jaime Cazalla came free, but Guaberto Gamus reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Francisco Seco hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. Uruguay were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Bandeca FC to leave the ground with a draw.
