Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) When Severino Gandia fell near the penalty area in the 2nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SuperFuerza TM's protests and gave Severino Gandia a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Ecuador booed when SuperFuerza TM was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Severino Gandia didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 3rd minute of the match Daniel Zorita sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Prospero Donzel skillfully saved the ball. Felix Montenegro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Prospero Donzel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 9 minutes into the game, Daniel Zorita cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Prospero Donzel was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Virgilio Chepe in the 11th minute of play. If Belarmino Villalcazar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Belarmino Villalcazar hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cristian Sancho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Prospero Donzel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 23rd minute of play. Daniel Zorita struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Prospero Donzel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. With his leg Julio Vera managed to avoid a goal in the 26thth minute, when SuperFuerza TM's Hector-Luis Palomar fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 35th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Prospero Donzel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 36th minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner went over the outstretched arms of SuperFuerza TM's goalie and right to Felix Montes. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. SuperFuerza TM's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hector-Luis Palomar, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. In the 40th minute Maarten Stubbe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 41 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ecuador's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Belarmino Villalcazar was slow to take the kick. During this time SuperFuerza TM's players had a chance to rest. The SuperFuerza TM players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ecuador were winning 0-2.

SuperFuerza TM's Prospero Donzel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save SuperFuerza TM from getting a goal against them. 53 minutes into the game, Felix Montenegro recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Prospero Donzel. Felix Montenegro showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 59 minutes, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Zorita was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 63rd minute, Guilherme Cardozo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 65th minute Luis Andino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Prospero Donzel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 67 minutes had been played when some careless play by SuperFuerza TM's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. Daniel Zorita made a great header on Ecuador's corner, it was just that SuperFuerza TM's Prospero Donzel managed to reach the ball for a save. After having played for 74 minutes, Severino Gandia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SuperFuerza TM's supporters crossed their fingers, but Severino Gandia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hector-Luis Palomar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Hector-Luis Palomar's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julio Vera was relentless in the 79th minute of the game. 80 minutes into the match, SuperFuerza TM's goalkeeper Prospero Donzel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. In the 85th minute Hector-Luis Palomar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Virgilio Chepe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ecuador's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
