Spectators: 49 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Finlay Stair took the kick off in the first half of the match. Kordal Duff struck a weak shot in the 3rd minute. Antonis Nikopolidis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Jamaica. Finlay Stair sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ruud Nistelrooy recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 15th play minutes Pipo Inzaghi shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Demonde Jacobson and just under the crossbar into goal. Nea Salamis's Darko Kovačević was substituted for Pipo Inzaghi. In the 20th minute Everardo Abreu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Demonde Jacobson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Darko Kovačević had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Demonde Jacobson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Darko Kovačević in the 28th minute of the match. In the 29th minute, Darko Kovačević left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Nea Salamis fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. If Jarell Hill had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 39 minutes, Darko Kovačević made it 0-4 with a short kick to the right side. Jamaica's Demonde Jacobson tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Darko Kovačević received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Demonde Jacobson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nea Salamis's attentive Cafu Milan managed to snatch the ball when Wayan Freeman made a throw-in in the 57th minute of the game. After 58th play minutes Darko Kovačević shot 0-6, a short shot which went by Demonde Jacobson and just under the crossbar into goal. 62 minutes into the match, Jamaica's goalkeeper Demonde Jacobson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Darko Kovačević. The crowd rose to their feet as Nea Salamis's Darko Kovačević slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Demonde Jacobson. That made the score 0-8 after 66 minutes of play. 71 minutes into the game, Darko Kovačević recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Demonde Jacobson. Darko Kovačević showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-9. Wayan Freeman made in the 74th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Nea Salamis's Cafu Milan. Darko Kovačević could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Demonde Jacobson made a huge save. Geroy Ascue's late challenge caught a Nea Salamis's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Geroy Ascue helped the player get up and apologised. After 76 played minutes Jamaica got a freekick which was hit by Geroy Ascue. Wawrzyniec Puchlik recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Darko Kovačević in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Demonde Jacobson saved Jamaica from getting behind. 87 minutes into the match, Jamaica's goal looked a bit too open when Ruud Nistelrooy came free, but Demonde Jacobson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Romon Oliver blasted a shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Antonis Nikopolidis having to make a save. Antonis Nikopolidis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Romon Oliver in the 88th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Darko Kovačević kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Demonde Jacobson. That made the score 0-11 in the 90 minute of play. Cafu Milan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Jamaica fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Nea Salamis were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
