Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Albert Rutledge started the match with the kick off. Albert Rutledge sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gottfrid Brenner in the 11th minute of the match. Julio Vera came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by LA VIOLA's Gottfrid Brenner. But to his dismay, Gottfrid Brenner quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After 17 minutes LA VIOLA's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. A well done corner resulted in Felix Montenegro drilling the ball in to score 1-1 behind LA VIOLA's goalkeeper. In the 19th minute, Albert Rutledge made a precise shot to the right of Julio Vera. Ecuador's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 27 minutes into the match, LA VIOLA's goalkeeper Felix Martinsson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. Felix Martinsson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Agustín Saelices in the 30th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gottfrid Brenner in the 32nd minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 35 minutes into the match, Luis Andino notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of LA VIOLA's Felix Martinsson. Felix Martinsson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 38 played minutes LA VIOLA got a freekick which was hit by Mihăiţă Cârstoiu. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 42 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Albert Rutledge came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. LA VIOLA were awarded a corner in the 44th minute after Ecuador's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Sune Dahlberg took the corner. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Daniel Zorita made the kick off in the second half. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albert Rutledge in the 55th minute of play. Mihăiţă Cârstoiu hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Daniel Zorita took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 59th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Felix Martinsson. LA VIOLA's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 64th minute, Daniel Zorita left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ecuador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. LA VIOLA's Felix Martinsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 67th minute of play. The supporters of Ecuador booed when LA VIOLA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jens-Ove Abrahamsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Albert Rutledge fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. 81 minutes into the match, LA VIOLA's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Felix Martinsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 87 minutes of play, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita made it 4-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Felix Martinsson was left in no man's land by his defense there! Felix Martinsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. When the referee ended the match the Ecuador players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
