Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Alberto Bidun started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After some careless play in the Set Fire defense, Cristian Sancho kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Inocencio Oinatz. The Set Fire fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Inocencio Oinatz should have stopped the shot. With a little luck, Ecuador's Julio Vera got control of the ball when Alberto Bidun tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alberto Bidun got free with Julio Vera in the 6th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ecuador's Julio Vera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to save Ecuador from getting a goal against them. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Zorita was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Inocencio Oinatz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pedro Brais, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Pedro Brais took the ball and in the 20 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Julio Vera. Julio Vera dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Set Fire's goalkeeper Inocencio Oinatz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Julio Vera was a little too slow when Alberto Bidun got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 27th minute. The score was now 2-1. In the 33rd match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felix Montenegro to maneuver through the defense. If Pedro Brais had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Set Fire getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Nemesio Ledo hit a great ball. Set Fire's Inocencio Oinatz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 44th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Set Fire's Pedro Brais got a free kick in the 47th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Daniel Zorita was the one to do the kick off. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pedro Brais, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Julio Gorri hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. After 57 played minutes Set Fire got a freekick which was hit by Kálmán Szigligeti. After 68 minutes, Alberto Bidun made it 4-1 with a short kick to the right side. Ecuador's Julio Vera tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 72nd minute, Cristian Sancho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Olof Uter sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Set Fire's zone, Daniel Zorita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Inocencio Oinatz came out of the goal and Daniel Zorita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
