After 31 played minutes SHAKTAR DONUTS got a freekick which was hit by Carolo Villa. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Mario Fernandino managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bolivia's supporters rose to their feet, but Mario Fernandino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Saul Moya breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 37 minutes, Feijo Coya mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SHAKTAR DONUTS and the Bolivia players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 37th match minute, SHAKTAR DONUTS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Feijo Coya to maneuver through the defense. Alfredo Ferrant fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Saul Moya having to interfere. With an all-out effort, Bolivia's Saul Moya threw himself towards the right post 40 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Eduardo Fontirroig, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Camilo Freixa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bittor Cambero, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. After the first half SHAKTAR DONUTS were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mario Fernandino to strike the kick off in the second half. After 51 played minutes SHAKTAR DONUTS got a freekick which was hit by Rafael Sacristán. SHAKTAR DONUTS's Saul Moya played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eduardo Fontirroig in the 52nd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in SHAKTAR DONUTS's zone, Alfredo Ferrant stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Saul Moya came out of the goal and Alfredo Ferrant tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eduardo Fontirroig received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Saul Moya tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bolivia's Camilo Freixa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save Bolivia from getting a goal against them. Alfredo Ferrant kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. In the 79th minute, Alfredo Ferrant left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bolivia fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Alfonso de la Cruz's late challenge caught a SHAKTAR DONUTS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alfonso de la Cruz helped the player get up and apologised.
