The supporters of Honduras booed when Young Angola was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edgar Caneças didn't get a good kick on the ball. 22 minutes into the match, Luca Espinar notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Young Angola's 叶镇晨. 叶镇晨 was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 26 played minutes Young Angola got a freekick which was hit by Edgar Caneças. Sebastian Villa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without 叶镇晨 having to interfere. 31 minutes into the game, Honduras's Edmundo Espiga nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. 叶镇晨 made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. After 35 minutes of play Young Angola's Edgar Caneças was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sebastian Villa in the 37th minute of play forced Young Angola's goalkeeper 叶镇晨 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 39 minutes into the match, Luís Quilempan notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Honduras's Lautaro Navarro. Lautaro Navarro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A throw-in in the 47th minute of the game was made by Magno Ermida with Ambrósio Ermida as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Edmundo Espiga stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ambrósio Ermida made in the 51st minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Honduras's Sebastian Villa. Ambrósio Ermida got a throw-in 52 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Toni Gonçalves. Ambrósio Ermida made in the 66th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Honduras's Moises Tafalla. In the 69th minute Edmundo Espiga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 叶镇晨 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Honduras played a much better game than Young Angola and deserved their victory. The Young Angola players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
