Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Sven-Olof Kielstedt started the match with the kick off. Alan Moruga kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. 5 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Sven-Olof Kielstedt came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sven-Olof Kielstedt in the 9th minute of play. In the 10th match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alexander Carballo to maneuver through the defense. In the 11th match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juan Rubio to maneuver through the defense. Algot Skröder struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Benito Sanz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Momlinho. Sven-Olof Kielstedt had several of the Costa Rica's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 16 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Benito Sanz as he didn't even see the shot coming. After a defensive mix-up in Costa Rica's zone, Jan Koller stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benito Sanz came out of the goal and Jan Koller tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sven-Olof Kielstedt in the 22nd minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Costa Rica defense, Sven-Olof Kielstedt kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Benito Sanz. The Costa Rica fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benito Sanz should have stopped the shot. In the 30th minute, FC Momlinho's Abo Bakr ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jan Koller, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Abel Carballo hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Jan Koller struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Benito Sanz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. Abel Carballo charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Abel Carballo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Abel Carballo kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abo Bakr, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jan Koller in the 45th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Axel Tasis stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abo Bakr, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. In the 55th minute, Abo Bakr got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sven-Olof Kielstedt in the 57th minute of play. FC Momlinho's Lukas Flinck was substituted for Sven-Olof Kielstedt. Lukas Flinck took the ball and in the 67 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. Benito Sanz came out of the goal in the 70th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Momlinho's Lukas Flinck. But to his dismay, Lukas Flinck quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. Thor Törnblom took the ball and in the 74 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0. In the 81st minute, Lukas Flinck left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Momlinho fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 8-0. FC Momlinho's Thor Törnblom got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Kurt Aspengren kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. FC Momlinho's Joachim Hellkvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eliseo Noboa in the 91st minute of play. Costa Rica's Axel Tasis was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Joachim Hellkvist in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Lukas Flinck took the ball and in the 94 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 10-0. There was no doubt that FC Momlinho were the better team. FC Momlinho's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
