Necaettin İlseven's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pedro Manzanares read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 7th minute of play. The supporters of Colombia booed when Firmat Foot Ball Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Necaettin İlseven didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 15th minute Kuncho Agüero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Manzanares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kuncho Agüero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Manzanares having to interfere. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Necaettin İlseven in the 20th minute of play. In the 22nd minute, Haroldo Maju reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Pedro Manzanares. The goal made the score 1-0. Pedro Manzanares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Necaettin İlseven in the 25th minute of play. Pedro Manzanares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Haroldo Maju, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Pedro Manzanares made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Haroldo Maju sent off a good shot on target. Through an outstanding action, after 28 minutes, Pedro Manzanares successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 30 minutes into the match, Firmat Foot Ball Club's goal looked a bit too open when Axel Montenegro came free, but Marciano Sesuldo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Axel Montenegro in the 33rd minute of play forced Firmat Foot Ball Club's goalkeeper Marciano Sesuldo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A sloppy throw-in by Adrian Conrao in the 34th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Colombia's Kevin Mastache. The Colombia fans' excitement grew in the 36th match minute when Colombia's Abram Sarmiento looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Haroldo Maju to make the kick off. After having played for 56 minutes, Salih Kılıçhan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Firmat Foot Ball Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Salih Kılıçhan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Colombia's Pascual Carballar got a free kick in the 58th minute. Haroldo Maju fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Manzanares having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Haroldo Maju in the 62nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pedro Manzanares prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Abram Sarmiento hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Colombia made a substitution. Abram Secada replaced Axel Montenegro. Colombia were awarded a corner in the 70th minute after Firmat Foot Ball Club's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Kevin Mastache took the corner. Necaettin İlseven received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Pedro Manzanares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 83 played minutes Firmat Foot Ball Club got a freekick which was hit by Necaettin İlseven. Firmat Foot Ball Club's Marciano Sesuldo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save Firmat Foot Ball Club from getting a goal against them. Antonio Indiano hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Pedro Manzanares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulino Nesto, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. In the 93rd minute, Charles Prata hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 94th minute Ignacio Mastache shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marciano Sesuldo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
