But to his dismay, Donato Goiz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. The supporters of USA booed when G.S. Prisma Fiorenzuola was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Donato Goiz didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee felt a red card was in order, 11 minutes into the game, when Emilio Persichetti put in a rough tackle. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 11th minute of the game. One of G.S. Prisma Fiorenzuola:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of USA:s goal. Cristiano Bucciarelli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cassius Byrne in the 15th minute of the match. 22 minutes into the match, USA's goal looked a bit too open when Donato Goiz came free, but Marco Day reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cassius Byrne made a kick off. Sam Campbell's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Cristiano Bucciarelli firmly grabbed it by the left post. Cristiano Bucciarelli stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edward Mcdonald's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. When the match clock showed 79 minutes, the score became 3-2 when Edward Mcdonald sped through G.S. Prisma Fiorenzuola's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Cristiano Bucciarelli. USA's Khalid Parry was substituted for Monty Rogers. USA's Marco Baker was substituted for Edward Mcdonald. Marco Day took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alvaro Nobile, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 86th minute Alvaro Nobile shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marco Day saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 91st minute Khalid Parry shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristiano Bucciarelli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jacob May received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Cristiano Bucciarelli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cristiano Bucciarelli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Khalid Parry in the 94th minute of play. When Jenson Smith fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored USA's protests and gave Jenson Smith a yellow card for diving instead. Many of USA's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. USA may have spent more time on the ball, but G.S. Prisma Fiorenzuola were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
