Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Paraguay's Jaime Pardo started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. René Švéda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jaime Pardo, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Paraguay's zone, Jiří Dusil stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jacobo Nores came out of the goal and Jiří Dusil tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 10 played minutes Paraguay got a freekick which was hit by Hector Covarrubias. Jaime Pardo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. René Švéda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jaime Pardo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without René Švéda having to interfere. Jaime Pardo scored 0-1 in the 34th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of René Švéda, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Pardubice Hurricanes's Jiří Dusil got a free kick in the 39th minute. René Švéda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jaime Pardo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 45 played minutes Pardubice Hurricanes got a freekick which was hit by Radovan Šálek. Hector Covarrubias recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The wind increased when Patrik Jirout made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Pardubice Hurricanes getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Michal Božek hit a great ball. The supporters of Paraguay booed when Pardubice Hurricanes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jiří Dusil didn't get a good kick on the ball. Xavier Zoido kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. If Hector Covarrubias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. René Švéda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hector Covarrubias in the 75th minute of play. Jaime Pardo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 84 minutes into the game, Primitivo Escribano was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Paraguay's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pardubice Hurricanes the free kick. Primitivo Escribano hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Jaime Pardo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. Hector Covarrubias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 92nd minute, Radovan Šálek hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
