But to his dismay, Edmundo Espiga quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. After 35 played minutes Honduras got a freekick which was hit by Milagros Cabal. If Edmundo Espiga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Patrik Jirout came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Pardubice Hurricanes fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Patrik Jirout couldn't finish the play. After having played for 41 minutes, Sebastian Villa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Honduras's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sebastian Villa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 46th minute, Edmundo Espiga got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 48th minute Edmundo Espiga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but René Švéda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The wind increased when Patrik Jirout made the kick off in the second half. René Švéda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edmundo Espiga, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edmundo Espiga in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck René Švéda prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 58th minute, Pardubice Hurricanes's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Sebastian Villa fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The supporters of Honduras booed when Pardubice Hurricanes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Michal Božek didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 75 played minutes Pardubice Hurricanes got a freekick which was hit by Harald Bartoň. With a little luck, Pardubice Hurricanes's René Švéda got control of the ball when Edmundo Espiga tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 94th minute of the game Jaromír Nosek made a throw-in which Radek Petřek played forward. 96 minutes into the match, Pardubice Hurricanes's goal looked a bit too open when Edmundo Espiga came free, but René Švéda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 97th minute of the match Honduras got a corner. Pardubice Hurricanes's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Edmundo Espiga ran over to the corner to take the kick. When the final whistle sounded Honduras left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Pardubice Hurricanes.
