Joel Gaona started the match with the kick off. In the 9th match minute, TAXI-MM- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stig-Åke Mager to maneuver through the defense. If Lautaro Mancebo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Costel Vasilescu in the 16th minute of play. Mexico were awarded a corner in the 21th minute after TAXI-MM-'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Joel Gaona took the corner. 23 minutes into the match, TAXI-MM-'s goal looked a bit too open when Lautaro Mancebo came free, but Martin Alexa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Martin Alexa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lautaro Mancebo, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Martin Alexa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lautaro Mancebo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alberto Tafalla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jacek Krzynowek in the 33rd minute of play. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bernardino Ipar in the 41st minute of the match. After 43 played minutes TAXI-MM- got a freekick which was hit by Pedro Celipe. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Yuan Di Xing stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Felix Luque was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 51 minutes into the match. After 51 played minutes Mexico got a freekick which was hit by Felix Luque. Bernardino Ipar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yuan Di Xing in the 57th minute of play. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bernardino Ipar, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. In the 60th minute, Costel Vasilescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bernardino Ipar hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robert Baita in the 67th minute of play. Lautaro Mancebo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Martin Alexa made a huge save. Luca Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Martin Alexa having to interfere. Martin Alexa made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when Lautaro Mancebo sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luca Zorita in the 74th minute of play forced TAXI-MM-'s goalkeeper Martin Alexa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Alberto Tafalla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A collision led to TAXI-MM- getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Jacek Krzynowek hit a great ball. After having played for 79 minutes, Alberto Tafalla managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mexico's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alberto Tafalla was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Martin Alexa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 82nd minute. Martin Alexa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luca Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lautaro Mancebo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Martin Alexa having to interfere. TAXI-MM-'s Martin Alexa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save TAXI-MM- from getting a goal against them. 93 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Jacek Krzynowek came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mexico's Luca Zorita got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mexico's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
