The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Jaime Pardo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Paraguay's supporters rose to their feet, but Jaime Pardo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vali Armanca breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 6th minute, Jaime Pardo made a precise shot to the right of Vali Armanca. Vlashers's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Jaime Pardo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vali Armanca having to interfere. After 15 minutes of play, Paraguay's Hector Covarrubias made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vali Armanca was left in no man's land by his defense there! Hector Covarrubias received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Vali Armanca came out and tried to block the shot, but Hector Covarrubias slotted it home off the left post making it 4-0 in the 18th minute. Hector Covarrubias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hector Covarrubias was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 22nd minute. Paraguay's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. From close distance Jaime Pardo pressed in the 6-0 goal high up into nets stiches in the right cross 27 minutes into the game. 35 minutes into the game, Jaime Pardo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-0. Vali Armanca was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Primitivo Escribano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jaime Pardo's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 44thth minute, Vali Armanca skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 45 minutes into the match, Hector Covarrubias notched a goal, 9-0, to the right of Vlashers's Vali Armanca. Vali Armanca was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jaime Pardo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Jaime Pardo made a precise shot to the right of Vali Armanca. Vlashers's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 10-0. In the 55th minute Hector Covarrubias shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vali Armanca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jaime Pardo in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vali Armanca prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 59 minutes, Hector Covarrubias made it 11-0 with a short kick to the right side. Vlashers's Vali Armanca tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Vali Armanca took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hector Covarrubias, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vali Armanca showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alan Campos, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Vlashers's Vali Armanca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jaime Pardo in the 68th minute of play. Hector Covarrubias blasted a shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Vali Armanca having to make a save. 69 minutes into the match, Jaime Pardo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Vali Armanca. Vlashers's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jaime Pardo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 12-0. Vali Armanca showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jaime Pardo, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. After some careless play in the Vlashers defense, Alan Campos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vali Armanca. The Vlashers fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vali Armanca should have stopped the shot. Primitivo Escribano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Vlashers's Vali Armanca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jaime Pardo in the 83rd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jaime Pardo in the 90th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vali Armanca saved Vlashers from getting behind. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jose Sanz during the 95th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Jose Sanz kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match.
