Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Juventus F.C.'s Ettore Puglielli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 3rd minute of play. After 3 minutes of play, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ettore Puglielli was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of Juventus F.C. booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristian Sancho didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 16th minute, Amerigo Cesarini ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Julio Vera was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Agustín Saelices couldn't finish the play. 34 minutes into the match, Juventus F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Ettore Puglielli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 36 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ettore Puglielli made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. In the 41st minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ettore Puglielli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 46 minutes into the game, Fulvio Salerni was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Juventus F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ecuador the free kick. In the 46th minute, Fulvio Salerni hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Emanuele Iovine kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. 53 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Ettore Puglielli made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 55th minute. Juventus F.C.'s defense didn't have a chance, in the 59th minute, when Luis Andino scored to the left of an out of position Ettore Puglielli, making the score, 1-4. Emanuele Iovine's late challenge caught a Ecuador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bruno Tomasso in the 72nd minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 88th minute, Daniel Zorita ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ettore Puglielli was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-5. When the match was over Ecuador could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Juventus F.C. throughout the match.
