Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Vergil Rupov made the kick off and thus started the match. Chile's Thiago Pliego proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 2nd minute of the match, managed to save Chile from getting a goal against them. Thiago Pliego made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vergil Rupov in the 12th minute of play. In the 15th minute, Suat Kaya made a precise shot to the right of Thiago Pliego. Chile's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. 20 minutes into the match, Chile's goal looked a bit too open when Vergil Rupov came free, but Thiago Pliego reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Loui Wouqier charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Loui Wouqier the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 21 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Genk! In the 22nd minute, Mariano Lacasa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Chile fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. After 26 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mariano Lacasa to make the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Pedro Indiano notched a goal, 1-4, to the right of Genk's Jannes Van Leempoel. But to his dismay, Orlando Casaus quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-5. In the 60th minute of the match, Guillermo Fontirroig got a very nice opportunity to score, but Jannes Van Leempoel was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 62 minutes into the match, Chile's goal looked a bit too open when Suat Kaya came free, but Thiago Pliego reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 64 minutes into the match, Genk's goalkeeper Jannes Van Leempoel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mariano Lacasa. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 70th minute of play forced Genk's goalkeeper Jannes Van Leempoel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 76th match minute, Genk was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tony Mampaerts to maneuver through the defense. 80 minutes into the match, Genk's goalkeeper Jannes Van Leempoel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mariano Lacasa. After 89 played minutes Genk got a freekick which was hit by Loui Wouqier. If Mariano Lacasa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 90 minutes into the match, Chile's Mariano Lacasa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jannes Van Leempoel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mariano Lacasa got free with Jannes Van Leempoel in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Chile walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
