In the 23rd minute, Panama's Isidoro Sarmiento ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind René Švéda. René Švéda yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. Patrik Jirout took the ball and in the 25 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marcos Cotilla. Marcos Cotilla dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Marcos Cotilla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patrik Jirout in the 35th minute of play. If Tomas Berganza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Jiří Dusil managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pardubice Hurricanes's supporters rose to their feet, but Jiří Dusil was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcos Cotilla breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Abraham Alguacil's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but René Švéda read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. Panama's Marcos Cotilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Michal Božek in the 45th minute of play. René Švéda stood somewhat misplaced when Tomas Berganza came free in front of goal and shot 5-1 to the left of him in the 46 minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-1 at half-time.

When Abraham Alguacil came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Panama fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Abraham Alguacil couldn't finish the play. Pardubice Hurricanes's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-1. 69 minutes into the match, Pardubice Hurricanes's goal looked a bit too open when Isidoro Sarmiento came free, but René Švéda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 70th match minute, Pardubice Hurricanes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Radek Petřek to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Panama booed when Pardubice Hurricanes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jaromír Nosek didn't get a good kick on the ball. Panama's Marcos Cotilla proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save Panama from getting a goal against them. In the 86th minute Tomas Berganza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but René Švéda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
