Jonathan Ferrant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Luís Paulo Linhares went, in the 6th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In a very dangerous position, a player in Venezuela fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 9th minute. Penalty! The supporters of São Paulo da Floresta booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guillermo Mariano didn't get a good kick on the ball. 18 minutes into the match, Bernard Sierocki had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bernard Sierocki was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. In the 20th minute, Bernard Sierocki hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luís Paulo Linhares in the 22nd minute of the match. A very nice done corner allowed Tony Campidelis to score against Jonathan Ferrant in Venezuela's goal. 0-4 after 24 minutes. Guillermo Mariano hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. After 29 played minutes São Paulo da Floresta got a freekick which was hit by Sandu Ţipirig. In the 31st match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guillermo Mariano to maneuver through the defense. 46 minutes into the game, São Paulo da Floresta's Luís Paulo Linhares nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-6. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-6 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tomas Illescas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A throw-in in the 52nd minute of the game was made by Bem Bom with Luís Paulo Linhares as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. After 54 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Jonathan Venegas. With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Bernard Sierocki tried to sneak it across the goal line. Venezuela's defense didn't have a chance, in the 57th minute, when Luís Paulo Linhares scored to the left of an out of position Jonathan Ferrant, making the score, 0-7. In the 67th minute, Tomas Illescas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Guillermo Mariano kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernard Sierocki, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 73rd minute, Luís Paulo Linhares ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-8. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sandu Ţipirig in the 77th minute of the match. Jose Correa's late challenge caught a São Paulo da Floresta's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jose Correa helped the player get up and apologised. After 79 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Jose Correa. 85 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Bernard Sierocki came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 88 played minutes Bernard Sierocki could catch the ball where he stood relatively free a bit outside the goal and without hesitation he completed 0-9 into the left cross. Teodoro Jacinto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Illescas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The São Paulo da Floresta players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
