When the match had gone on for 16 minutes, Agustín Saelices put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Michal Hojnoš. The Ecuador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. Olle Dahlquist hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Åkeshovs reservlag's Michal Hojnoš proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save Åkeshovs reservlag from getting a goal against them. After having played for 60 minutes, Niclas Norberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Åkeshovs reservlag's supporters crossed their fingers, but Niclas Norberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Michal Hojnoš having to interfere. With a little luck, Åkeshovs reservlag's Michal Hojnoš got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Michal Hojnoš made a huge save. After 75 minutes, Daniel Zorita mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ecuador and the Åkeshovs reservlag players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Daniel Zorita hit a great ball. Åkeshovs reservlag's Rikard Vesterberg was substituted for Gösta Lind. Daniel Zorita came free with the goalkeeper in the 89th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Michal Hojnoš could save by the left post. Michal Hojnoš made an important save on a dangerous shot by Agustín Saelices in the 93rd minute. Ecuador's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
