With a little luck, Dinamo Colorado's Wellington Abraão got control of the ball when Francisco Seco tried to sneak it across the goal line. Alberto Gisbert hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. When Sidnei Azevedo came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Dinamo Colorado fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sidnei Azevedo couldn't finish the play. Joaquin Gayoso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cezary Laba in the 24th minute of play. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sidnei Azevedo was the one to do the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Sidnei Azevedo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dinamo Colorado's supporters rose to their feet, but Sidnei Azevedo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joaquin Gayoso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Francisco Seco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wellington Abraão having to interfere. Sidnei Azevedo might have been able to make a better finish in the 65th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Joaquin Gayoso. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sidnei Azevedo ran back to his position shaking his head. Wellington Abraão took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Francisco Seco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Wellington Abraão was left in no man's land by his defense there! The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
