Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Venezuela's Tomas Illescas started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Arnulfo Lugo came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 3rd match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jose Correa to maneuver through the defense. In the 5th minute, Kaká Junior reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jonathan Ferrant. The goal made the score 1-0. Kaká Junior's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 10thth minute, Jonathan Ferrant skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Tomás Guillen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Illescas in the 13th minute of the match. After 14 minutes Timmernabben FF's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Tomas Illescas who took care of the corner kick. 22 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Arnulfo Lugo came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arnulfo Lugo, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patricio Costa in the 27th minute of play forced Timmernabben FF's goalkeeper Tomás Guillen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 29 minutes, Jonathan Ferrant successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After a defensive mix-up in Timmernabben FF's zone, Tomas Illescas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tomás Guillen came out of the goal and Tomas Illescas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jonathan Ferrant was out of position in the 39 minute of play, and Sakarias Stephansson capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Sakarias Stephansson really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Rigoberto Mina got a free kick in the 42nd minute. 43 minutes into the game, Timmernabben FF's Arnulfo Lugo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Timmernabben FF's Nicklas Dalgren got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

In the 53rd minute, Arnulfo Lugo made a precise shot to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. Tomas Illescas hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. In the 58th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonathan Venegas to maneuver through the defense. Guillermo Mariano hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Arnulfo Lugo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With his leg Tomás Guillen managed to avoid a goal in the 81stth minute, when Venezuela's Tomas Illescas fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Tomás Guillen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Illescas in the 85th minute of the match. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arnulfo Lugo, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. The supporters of Timmernabben FF booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jose Correa didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 92 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Rigoberto Mina. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Timmernabben FF had played much better football throughout.
