Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Tedj Sellal got the match started through his kick off. Ecuador's Julio Vera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to save Ecuador from getting a goal against them. In the 4th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Afiz Ching saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 5th minute after Bolivar's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. After taking down the ball on Ecuador's corner Daniel Zorita fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Afiz Ching quite easily take care of the ball. Bolivar's Afiz Ching played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 8th minute of play. 16 minutes into the game, Bruno Pasquino was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bolivar's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ecuador the free kick. In the 16th minute, one of Bolivar:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Bolivar. The referee gave Ecuador a penalty, 17 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Daniel Zorita, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Bolivar's Afiz Ching. 0-1. 28 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Afiz Ching narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ecuador's Cristian Sancho got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Afiz Ching took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Brett Cordrey kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. After having played for 48 minutes, Brett Cordrey managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bolivar's supporters crossed their fingers, but Brett Cordrey was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Rund Boll kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. In the 57th minute, Brett Cordrey left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bolivar fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Afiz Ching tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 65 played minutes Bolivar got a freekick which was hit by Hamid Merah-Benida. In the 70th minute Tedj Sellal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 72 minutes into the match, Alexandru Boșneag notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Ecuador's Julio Vera. Julio Vera was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 75 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Alexandru Boșneag came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Bolivar's zone, Daniel Zorita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Afiz Ching came out of the goal and Daniel Zorita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bolivar's Afiz Ching played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 78th minute of play. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brett Cordrey in the 83rd minute of play. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 93rd minute, Esteban Calderero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 96 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Felix Montenegro. Ecuador's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Bolivar had won, even though Ecuador had held more of the ball.
