Obregón Arrizabalaga didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. 15 minutes into the match, Chancleta SC's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Obregón Arrizabalaga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luis Andinos short, quick shot in the 18thth minute got Obregón Arrizabalaga to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. A collision led to Chancleta SC getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Wilmer Sahagun hit a great ball. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from J.P. Hauge, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from J.P. Hauge in the 29th minute of play. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vachon Luaces, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. A collision led to Chancleta SC getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Castillo Cepeda hit a great ball. Obregón Arrizabalaga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When J.P. Hauge came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the Chancleta SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that J.P. Hauge couldn't finish the play. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Obregón Arrizabalaga having to interfere. Obregón Arrizabalaga came out of the goal in the 62nd minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Daniel Zorita. But to his dismay, Daniel Zorita quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. In the 64th minute, Cristian Sancho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Chancleta SC's Vincente Oquendo was substituted for Leonardo Lomas. Chancleta SC made a substitution. Guerrero Usel replaced Vachon Luaces. After having played for 67 minutes, Guerrero Usel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chancleta SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Guerrero Usel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 73 minutes of play, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Obregón Arrizabalaga was left in no man's land by his defense there! Chancleta SC's Obregón Arrizabalaga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 75th minute of play. Mario Bang hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Obregón Arrizabalaga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 81st minute of the match. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Chancleta SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Castillo Cepeda didn't get a good kick on the ball. 91 minutes into the match, Chancleta SC's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Obregón Arrizabalaga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mario Bang kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. Luis Andino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
