In the 16th minute, Tomas Illescas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of PamantDeFlori booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patricio Costa didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Tomas Illescas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ivan Popete was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Emiliano Umanzor stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Emiliano Umanzor tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Marin Covrig made a kick off. Jonathan Venegas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Ivan Popete tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 53 minutes of play, PamantDeFlori's Emiliano Umanzor made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 59th minute, Tomas Illescas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marin Covrig in the 60th minute of the match. Ivan Popete showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Illescas, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. In the 64th minute, Rigoberto Mina hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Mircea Siteavu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Mircea Siteavu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eg Masorsky made in the 68th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Emiliano Umanzor however managed to control. In the 69th minute, Marin Covrig left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The PamantDeFlori fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marin Covrig, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute.
