After 11 minutes Chile's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Moritz Hasenjäger who took care of the corner kick. Moritz Hasenjäger made a great header on Hertha 1969's corner, it was just that Chile's Thiago Pliego managed to reach the ball for a save. Thiago Pliego made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wilhelm Nienhaus in the 25th minute of play. The wind increased when Wilhelm Nienhaus made the kick off in the second half. Guillermo Fontirroig fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rune Jarstein having to interfere. Mariano Lacasa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rune Jarstein having to make a save. When Hertha 1969's Wilhelm Nienhaus in the 71st minute got a chance for a shot 71st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Chile's Thiago Pliego proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save Chile from getting a goal against them. In the 93rdth minute of the game Rupert Heidingsfelder who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chile's Thiago Pliego was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 95th minute Hertha 1969 were awarded a corner. Moritz Hasenjäger went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Hertha 1969's corner Kristian Oswald fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Thiago Pliego quite easily take care of the ball.
