Lautaro Navarro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Adam Grocholski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmundo Espiga in the 31st minute of play. After 95 played minutes KTH Krynica got a freekick which was hit by Teobald Kaczanek. After having played for 96 minutes, Edmundo Espiga managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Honduras's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edmundo Espiga was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match was over Honduras could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than KTH Krynica throughout the match.
