Tomas Illescas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Nisio Soldevila tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 19 minutes of play, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nisio Soldevila was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Tytus Damazki in the 25th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 27 minutes, Tytus Damazki took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Jonathan Ferrant to make any attempt to save it. With an all-out effort, Club Gardel's Jonathan Ferrant threw himself towards the right post 31 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Tytus Damazki, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 34th minute of the match Club Gardel got a corner. Venezuela's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Saul Palos ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Erramun Garraz got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jonathan Ferrant quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Jonathan Ferrant was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Pascual Vasco showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-2 in the 44 minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tytus Damazki, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

Guillermo Mariano kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pascual Vasco in the 52nd minute of the match. Nisio Soldevila stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tomas Illescas's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. In the 55th minute Tytus Damazki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Club Gardel's Nisio Soldevila proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save Club Gardel from getting a goal against them. Fernandez Lara hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. In the 58th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jose Correa to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patricio Costa in the 63rd minute of play forced Club Gardel's goalkeeper Nisio Soldevila to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Club Gardel's Nisio Soldevila got control of the ball when Patricio Costa tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Club Gardel getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Saul Palos hit a great ball. In the 70th minute Tomas Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nisio Soldevila saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 75th minute, Guillermo Mariano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 82 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Tytus Damazki came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Patricio Costa kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Patricio Costa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute.
