In the 51stth minute of the game Cristian Sancho who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Fc-Criuleni-City's Li Feng Guo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristian Sancho got free with Li Feng Guo in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The Fc-Criuleni-City supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Ecuador's performance. The match ended with a win for Ecuador.
