In the 6th minute, Arnoldo Karmel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Camilo Gaos kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Arnoldo Karmel tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dave Basso went, in the 19th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. 24 minutes into the match, Nestor Ondino dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jonathan Ferrant, 3-0. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arnoldo Karmel in the 69th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tomas Illescas got free with Delmiro Dominic in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
