Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Mariano Lacasa got the match started through his kick off. In the 6th minute of the match Hertha 1969 got a corner. Chile's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Moritz Hasenjäger ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Moritz Hasenjäger almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Chile's Thiago Pliego did a great save. In the 16th minute of the match, Zé Paulo da Silva tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Thiago Pliego saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Rune Jarstein showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 25th minute of the match. 28 minutes into the match, Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Wilhelm Nienhaus. After some careless play in the Chile defense, Wilhelm Nienhaus kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Thiago Pliego. The Chile fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Thiago Pliego should have stopped the shot. In the 33rdth minute of the game Wilhelm Nienhaus who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chile's Thiago Pliego was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Wilhelm Nienhaus recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mariano Lacasa might have been able to make a better finish in the 41st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rune Jarstein. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mariano Lacasa ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 43rd minute Orlando Casaus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rune Jarstein saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hertha 1969's Rune Jarstein played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Orlando Casaus in the 47th minute of play. Orlando Casaus might have been able to make a better finish in the 47th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rune Jarstein. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Orlando Casaus ran back to his position shaking his head. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.
The wind increased when Wilhelm Nienhaus made the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Orlando Casaus managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chile's supporters rose to their feet, but Orlando Casaus was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rune Jarstein breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 59th minute, Zé Paulo da Silva made a precise shot to the right of Thiago Pliego. Chile's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Mariano Lacasa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rune Jarstein having to make a save. Rune Jarstein made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 62nd minute of play. 70 minutes into the match, Chile's Mariano Lacasa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rune Jarstein narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Alan Tamayo charged in rather forcefully in the 72nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alan Tamayo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 76th minute the ball was on its way in behind Hertha 1969's goalkeeper Rune Jarstein, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Orlando Casaus kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Rune Jarstein. That made the score 2-1 in the 76 minute of play. Chile were awarded a corner in the 81th minute after Hertha 1969's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Mariano Lacasa took the corner. Wilhelm Nienhaus received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Thiago Pliego tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Hertha 1969's zone, Guillermo Fontirroig stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rune Jarstein came out of the goal and Guillermo Fontirroig tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mariano Lacasa's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Rune Jarstein firmly grabbed it by the left post. Rune Jarstein made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Mariano Lacasa sent off a good shot on target. Thiago Pliego made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wilhelm Nienhaus in the 92nd minute of play. Chile's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Hertha 1969 had won, even though Chile had held more of the ball.
