The supporters of Panama booed when Liverpool FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arttu Kuhta didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Abraham Alguacil came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Panama fans jumped to their feet. Abraham Alguacil recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 33rd minute, Abraham Alguacil made a precise shot to the right of Abcdefghijklmno Abcdefghijklmnopqrst. Liverpool FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. After some careless play in the Panama defense, Kustaa Esala kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marcos Cotilla. The Panama fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marcos Cotilla should have stopped the shot.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Taito Turpeinen stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kustaa Esala. After a rather tough play, Liverpool FC's Aulis Raninen got a free kick in the 60th minute. Panama's Tomas Berganza got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Abraham Alguacil fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abcdefghijklmno Abcdefghijklmnopqrst having to interfere. 66 minutes into the match, Panama's goal looked a bit too open when Tuukka Liimatainen came free, but Marcos Cotilla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alex Cambeiro hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Abcdefghijklmno Abcdefghijklmnopqrst took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Berganza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abraham Alguacil in the 75th minute of play forced Liverpool FC's goalkeeper Abcdefghijklmno Abcdefghijklmnopqrst to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 76 minutes had been played when some careless play by Liverpool FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Abraham Alguacil was slow to take the kick. During this time Panama's players had a chance to rest. Panama's Abraham Alguacil was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Abcdefghijklmno Abcdefghijklmnopqrst in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 78 minutes into the match, Kustaa Esala notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Panama's Marcos Cotilla. Marcos Cotilla was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Tomas Berganza kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. With a little luck, Panama's Marcos Cotilla got control of the ball when Kustaa Esala tried to sneak it across the goal line. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Liverpool FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
