Edward Mcdonald might have been able to make a better finish in the 12th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Qi Jing Ke. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Edward Mcdonald ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Monty Rogers in the 17th minute of play forced 『盛世メ名門』鹏城威水哥FC's goalkeeper Qi Jing Ke to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cadman 赵云 got in the 21st a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Marco Day handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. 22 minutes into the match, USA's goal looked a bit too open when Mouloud Cavalli came free, but Marco Day reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The corner led 『盛世メ名門』鹏城威水哥FC's Manole Mavrogheni to fire away a dangerous shot which Marco Day despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The supporters of 『盛世メ名門』鹏城威水哥FC booed when USA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Diego Bradley didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 32nd minute, Cadman 赵云 left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. Qi Jing Ke showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Monty Rogers in the 40th minute of the match. Marco Day made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cadman 赵云 in the 45th minute of play. Diego Bradley kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cassius Byrne to strike the kick off in the second half. Qi Jing Ke showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Monty Rogers, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. USA's Khalid Parry managed to work through 『盛世メ名門』鹏城威水哥FC's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Khalid Parry dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. When the final whistle went the supporters of 『盛世メ名門』鹏城威水哥FC were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant USA side.
