Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) 3 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Agustín Saelices sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nechifor Baștină narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Academia D3c3bal FC's zone, Cristian Sancho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nechifor Baștină came out of the goal and Cristian Sancho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Felix Montenegro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nechifor Baștină read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. Nechifor Baștină made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Felix Montenegro sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Academia D3c3bal FC booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felix Montenegro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nechifor Baștină made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. Cristian Sancho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristian Sancho got free with Nechifor Baștină in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 28th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. Academia D3c3bal FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. Ecuador's Felix Montes was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Nechifor Baștină in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 29th play minute Felix Montes came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Nechifor Baștină. 2-0. Academia D3c3bal FC's Nechifor Baștină proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Academia D3c3bal FC from getting a goal against them. In the 35th minute the ball was on its way in behind Academia D3c3bal FC's goalkeeper Nechifor Baștină, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Academia D3c3bal FC's Nechifor Baștină played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 39th minute of play. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 40th minute after Academia D3c3bal FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. With a little luck, Academia D3c3bal FC's Nechifor Baștină got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 43rd minute, Cristian Sancho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 46th minute, Cristian Sancho fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Nechifor Baștină, passed just outside the right post. If Aron Dărmănescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. John Forsberg was the one to do the kick off. Codrin Dersidan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Julio Vera having to make a save. Nicolae Diaconu was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 58 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Pavel Logofătu during the 62nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 63rd minute, Pavel Logofătu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Academia D3c3bal FC's Codrin Dersidan got a free kick in the 65th minute. When Cristian Sancho came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristian Sancho couldn't finish the play. Nechifor Baștină made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Agustín Saelices in the 78th minute of play. When Ecuador's Cristian Sancho in the 79th minute got a chance for a shot 79th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Academia D3c3bal FC's goalie prevented a goal. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 80th minute after Academia D3c3bal FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. Academia D3c3bal FC's Gheorghe Bojin suffered a sore thigh after 81 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Luis Andino's late challenge caught a Academia D3c3bal FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Luis Andino helped the player get up and apologised. In the 83rd match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luis Andino to maneuver through the defense. Nechifor Baștină showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. John Forsberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Academia D3c3bal FC's Remus Stoicescu got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Agustín Saelices sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Codrin Dersidan hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Ecuador fully deserved thier win.
