SK Dreigoten's Christoffel Portmans proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save SK Dreigoten from getting a goal against them. Roderik Van den Berch sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Christoffel Portmans showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christoffel Portmans having to interfere. After 32nd play minutes Cristian Sancho shot 1-1, a short shot which went by Christoffel Portmans and just under the crossbar into goal. 37 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Christoffel Portmans. SK Dreigoten's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Daniel Zorita was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. 41 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Luis Andino sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Christoffel Portmans narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 44 minutes into the game, SK Dreigoten's Nickolas Wittemans nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Julio Vera made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. In the 46th match minute, SK Dreigoten was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nickolas Wittemans to maneuver through the defense. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Daniel Zorita made the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Roger De Rijck during the 51st minute. In the 68th minute, Roger De Rijck hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 71st minute of the match, Nickolas Wittemans tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Julio Vera saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. SK Dreigoten's Christoffel Portmans played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Agustín Saelices in the 85th minute of play. Christoffel Portmans came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Agustín Saelices. But to his dismay, Agustín Saelices quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-2. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Ecuador fans cheered their team off the field, for while SK Dreigoten had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
